The Queen Juliana Bridge of Death.
Thankfully, with a cheap MANUAL shift car, where I could demand what little power it had when I needed to, this wasn't as bad this year.

I was actually told, I think by the waitress at the Iguana Cafe, that some section had, in the past, broken (due to being all metal), causing loss of life. The merges onto the bridge are insanely short and inadequate for most people in crappy cars to manage. Add that to the blind turns you remain in right up until you are IN the merge, and it makes traversing this thing a bit of a nightmare. People just stop in the merge lane to wait. Hideously dangerous and a complete crapshoot as to when it's going to happen.

I counted on FREQUENTLY.
